For our Client - international manufacturing company we are looking for EMEA Supply Chain Manager.
Key responsibilities:
- To lead and develop the execution of a robust S&OP process for the EMEA region and drive organisational change
- Execute all elements of the S&OP process to provide an optimum customer service level and working capital performance, as defined by the organisation’s business operating plans and strategic objectives
- Analyse global economy and business trends to improve forecast accuracy
- Lead the S&OP management reviews, prepare all data and metrics for review, identify gaps and scenarios that must be presented, guide final decision making on open items and trade-offs, and prepare escalations for executive review where appropriate
- Communicate key conclusions to stakeholders and perform follow up actions
- Partner with the Sales and Technical teams to ensure the demand consensus process delivers an agreed upon, workable volume forecast (mid and long term), ensure gaps and overlaps are addressed, scenarios are completed and issues appropriately escalated to meet business objectives.
- Recommend and maintain optimal inventory levels at various stages in the supply chain in order to achieve customer satisfaction levels as well as mitigate inventory exposure
- Maintain forecasts and manage links between systems for forecasting, master production scheduling, inventory management and product development utilizing various systems
- Integrate New Product Introduction, End of Life and Support Requirements and other product demand signals to create a demand forecast
- Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance to ensure that the appropriate data is available and accurate to be reviewed at the S&OP process meetings and establish the organisation’s supply chain
- Analyse, quantify and define scope for capacity, resource, logistics and supply chain planning
- Design, implement and refine supply chain processes from materials to product shipment
- Evaluate supplier delivery performance and capability, building into the S&OP process risk mitigating approaches to manage supplier performance variation.
- Drive continuous improvements through the sharing of “best practice” methods, processes and ideas across the organization’s supply chain operations
- Work to reduce the cost of sales and operations planning, recommending improvements to procedures, contracts and agreements
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain, Business Administration and/or related field (or equivalent)
- Understanding of entire value chain including demand planning, supply planning, purchasing, global materials, inventory management, S&OP, supply chain IT systems and bill of materials management
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand management and inventory management in a global manufacturing or distribution environment holding a degree of complexity
- 3+ years of experience in SAP(preferred), JDE or other ERP.
- Strong technical skills with optimization tools and /or business intelligence/reporting environments
- Sales and Operations Planning experience
