Our customer is a leading international company of powersports sector. Due to further development of the engineering team we are searching for an experienced electrical engineer.
Description
As an Embedded Electrical Engineer you will:
- Partner with project leaders to establish reasonable project development schedules and resource plans
- Cooperate with internal and external electrical software, hardware, and design teams
- Design vehicle electrical systems that meet required specifications while maximizing safety and reliability
- Schedule and lead peer team reviews, including harness routing reviews
- Provide electrical schematics
- Develop test requirements for electrical systems
- Participate in electrical component placement and design reviews
- Lead DFMEA efforts for international off-road electrical systems
- Analyze field and production problems to determine root cause and provide recommendations on solutions
- Assist procurement team with sourcing of electrical components (providing specifications, evaluating supplier technical capability, testing, etc)
- Travel to United States 1-2 times per year, additional travel within Europe as needed (2-3 times per year)
Profile
- 4 year degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years work experience in an electrical engineering position; ideally in new product development within powersports / automotive industry
- Analog and digital circuit analysis and design
- Electrical system design of vehicle or machine control systems
- Experience with electronic schematic capture and circuit simulation tools
- Hands on experience using electrical test and assembly equipment
- Wire harness design experience
- Control network (CAN) experience
- Highly developed computer skills using EE design/analysis and Microsoft Office software
- Engineering problem solving approach
- Open for relocation
