Electrical Project Engineer
Lokalizacja: KrakówMain Responsibilities:
- Being Package Responsible Engineer for Electrically Trace Heated (ETH) cable delivery:
- reviewing supplier documentation
- following up & reporting progress with weekly meetings
- handling documentation in IPC+
- Following up qualification activities ongoing on ETH cables & splices with both internal[PB1]
and external[PB2] parties - Designing all electrical test equipment for the testing of the ETH components at the spool base
and onboard the vessel (at cable reception, during assembly, on stalks, during spooling, etc.) - Designing and specifying the equipment, writing test procedures, defining acceptance criteria
- Assisting Lead Engineer in the electrical protection studies using ETAP software
Required Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in fabrication and testing of
High Voltage cables, experience in subsea power cables would be a plus - Good comprehension of High Voltage test techniques and equipment is mandatory
- Good knowledge of IEC standards for design and testing of high voltage cables and accessories
(IEC 60502 Sections 2 & 4) is required - Knowledge of topside power equipment (transformers, switchgears) would be a plus
- Ability to perform field stress simulations and interference analyses using appropriate software
(ETAP or equivalent) would be a plus - Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written
- Openness to regular travel to other TechnipFMC locations, primarily in Norway
- Interactions with other internal disciplines: umbilical, topside equipment and power
management system - Interaction outside organization: Clients Special Matter Experts, Vendors and Testing
