Client Details
Our Client is a western Automotive manufacturing company with its Polish site located in Świdnica. Currently we are searching for an expert in the range of electric product development to join its constantly growing Product Engineering department.
Description
- Leading continuous engineering product development initiatives, including its implementation into serial production
- New components, products & technologies design, development, implementation
- Development & implementation of VA/VE cost saving initiatives
- Conducting research regaridng new materials and competitive products
- Coordination of prototype products' building, testing, and analysis
- Supporting the change management process from release through validation and implementation
- Creating and maintaining Design Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (DFMEA)
- Applying the Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T)fundamentals to the product drawings
- Developing & maintaining a product validation test plan (DVP&R)
- Providing support in the range of APQP requirements for product engineering
- Cooperation with a variety of global suppliers and customers (such as Jaguar Land Rover, Ford, Mercedes, AMG, BMW)
- Performing manual engineering calculations (i.e. dimensional stack-ups)
Profile
- Min. 2 years of professional experience in the range of electrical product / project engineering (gained in manufacturing environment; Automotive experience will be an advantage)
- Electric educational background (min. Bachelor degree)
- Fluency in English and/or German
- Self-sufficiency in leading the issues to closure
- Knowledge/experience and understanding of Permanent Magnet and Reluctance Motor (and Induction Machines)
- Knowledge/experience and understanding of thermal and electromagnetic Generators/Electric Motors design
- Knowledge/experience in Generators/Electric Motors design, diagnostic, testing
- Knowledge/experience in performing electromagnetic, mechanical, thermal and NVH analyses
