The position is within Services of Hiab in a global organization in e-commerce team. The company has a solid foundation with the current solution and current development activities focus on features that will increase sales and Webshop utilization, improve user experience and also enable new features that will lift the usability and engagement to a whole new level.
As the e-commerce technical specialist, you will work closely with the e-commerce team, business owners, frontlines sales companies and stakeholders to improve how e-commerce works in our daily operations.
This position will be based in Gdansk, Poland. You will report to the e-commerce manager.

- Managing technical aspects of the e-commerce infrastructure
- Ensuring the platform is scalable and development activities are inline with corporate infrastructure including negotiating technical solutions with corporate IT teams
- Responsible together with the e-commerce manager for managing the outsourced web development teams
- Responsible to set quality and delivery timeline expectations
- Define guidelines for the web development teams
- Create technical standards for delivery and associated KPIs
- Create framework for future state
- Perform gap analysis
- Manage down technical debt
- Critically and constantly review webshop capabilities and technologies
- Identify areas for enhancement and technology solutions to reduce dependency on customisation
- Build and prioritise items with the e-commerce manager and product owner
- Facilitating technical meetings and aid in incident resolution
- Acting as a key user for our PIM solution, including creating of data models and management of product data
- Work together with the development team to ensure the stability and performance of the platform
- Owning technical best practice with an out of the box solution mindset
- Assist in testing e-commerce functionality
- Support of GDPR, Data Protection, Webshop security
- Plan releases, outages with the development team
- Monitor site performance along with devops to ensure adequate webshop stability
- 4-5 years of experience in eCommerce business, B2B or B2C
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field an asset
- Experience in application development and Product data management
- Strong technical and Agile skills
- SQL, Google Cloud, Amazon S3/RDS skills
- Coding skills (.NET), knowledge of Devops & continuous integration will be an asset
- E-Commerce and CMS knowledge, experience with EpiServer (Optimizely) and InRiver
- Experience with Salesforce CRM and marketing Cloud considered an asset
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar) considered an asset
- Good written and verbal English skills
- Ability to translate technical issues into business terms
