DevOps Engineer
Location: KatowiceIBM Global Services Delivery Center employs IT professionals across all sectors. This site is fast becoming a “Centre of Excellence” in key areas of the global technology industry. We are looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud team to create tools to turn manual tasks into efficient automated processes. This position may require working in round the clock shifts and on-call support.
Responsibilities:
- Designing an infrastructure to ingest huge amounts of data
- Designing and creating tools to run applications in data centers
- Performing new releases and upgrades
- Being involved in smoke testing and defect resolution cloud environment
- Frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
Requirements:
- Experience with Linux – install, manage (Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOs)
- Experience with Windows Server – install, manage (2008, 2012)
- 2+ years of experience with public cloud (AWS, Azure, SoftLayer)
- Leverage configuration and systems management for Linux and Windows in one of the following: Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible, SCCM, WDM
- Multi-hypervisor experience (VMWare, KVM, Hyper-V, VirtualBox)
- Advanced PowerShell, Bash
- Knowledge of Python or Ruby
- English: Fluent
