Deputy to Chief Financial Officer

For our Client – international construction company based in Warsaw we are looking for Candidates for position Deputy to Chief Financial Officer. If you have appropriate experience and education in finance as well as fluent English this could be the exciting challenge for you!

Scope of duties:

  • Responsibility for the co-management of the finance department, Provide support and guidance on all financial matters
  • Assisting and supporting CFO in building up an adequate Finance Organization
  • Manage Chief Accountant
  • Build and organize a strong long term project controller organization supporting Management
  • Coordinating budget and forecast issues. Prepare, analyse and present monthly reports, quarterly forecasts, business reviews, annual budgets and medium term strategic plans.
  • Lead the business planning area of the business to ensure robust business plans and profitability analysis is in place.
  • Work with the management of our distribution partners to ensure that all process and systems are integrated.
  • Analyse and interpret financial results, presenting those to senior management and contributing to the strategic direction of the business, combining financial and non-financial information
  • Provide analysis and contribute to discussions in order to ensure financial viability of commercial activities in the Polish business.
  • The development of internal business processes and the integration of business systems, implementation new IT solutions

Expectations:

  • Excellent Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principles, controlling
  • University degree in finance
  • Minimum 5 years of finance experience within industrial environment
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • excellent knowledge of financial system’s development and operation ERP, experience in ERP systems implementation
  • Few years Team management experience
  • SOX procedures and IFRS standards knowledge
  • Ability to motivate and assess subordinates
  • Effective planning and organizational skills
  • Strategic role awareness
  • Teamplayer and effective leader
