THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Utrecht Netherlands.
They are a global pharmaceutical player who is aiming to enhance people's lives with their drug products.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the Demand Planner you play a key role in developing, monitoring and improving the demand plans on operational level (13 weeks) and on tactical level (18 months) in collaboration with the Sales, Marketing, Finance and S&OP teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for enabling our client to be more competitive and create partnerships with key partners and will be responsible for optimizing the logistical processes of the client, next to that you will also be responsible for:
· Leading the demand review process as part of the S&OP cycle and collaboration with the other departments.
· Improving performance (forecast accuracy determined with the S&OP hubs)
· Dealing with a complex supply chain; short deliver times, short life cycles, demand driven and high promotion pressure
· Accurate and efficient attitude
· Operating in a matrix organization dealing with the market related sales and cost driven supply chain
REQUIREMENTS
· BSc or MSc in Logistics, Business or any other related field required
· 5 years working experience within the Supply Chain and extensive knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP
· Experience in leading a team in a professional setting within the Food industry
· Effective communication skills in Dutch and English, can work with people in different teams,levels and functions. Ability to influence results through others and external organizations.
