Your new role
Accountabilities:
• Collaborating with engineering and model development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions for model implementation
• Modifying and improving existing model implementations
• Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives in the area of data science
• Designing, developing and deploying modular cloud-based solution for data science pipelines
• Developing and maintaining data science pipelines in accordance with best practices
• Ensuring efficient model implementation in accordance with security policies and best practices in cloud security
• Regularly reviewing existing model implementation systems and making recommendations for improvements
• Ensure adherence with all the applicable compliance policies (Data security policy, AML, operational risk, Functional manual, Group Compliance Manual, Audit recommendations, Internal Control requirements, regulatory guidelines etc.) and business standards of Organization as applicable. Take timely action on Audit comments and be able to demonstrate compliance with Internal controls
• Mentor, guide and oversee junior team members as required
What you'll need to succeed
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or mathematics
• 3+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on GCP.
• Experience with Big Data on GCP – BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Dataflow
• Experience in several of the following areas: database architecture, ETL, big data, machine learning, advanced analytics
• Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes
• Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Gerrit, GitLab, or Jenkins
• Excellent experience with Unix-based systems, including bash programming
• Strong software development experience in Python programming languages
• Good written/Oral Communication, Presentation, Interactive skills with team across geography
• Have a drive for self-improvement and learning, including learning new programming languages
• Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies
