We are currently looking for a candidate in the following role:

This role is in the newly created Central DataVisa Team within the Data Privacy Office. The DataVisa Team provides support and guidance for the centralised process to assess requests to transfer data cross-border (DataVisa).

Responsibilities:

Provide support and guidance on the DataVisa process and rules to people requesting data transfers.
Liaise with Local and Group Legal, Regulatory Compliance and Chief Data Officer Teams (including GB/GF CDO) as required to answer queries and ensure that any manual DataVisa assessments are completed in a timely manner.
Act as the first point of contact to answer DataVisa queries and liaise with Legal or Regulatory Compliance teams as necessary, to gather information and provide a response.
Liaise with the GB/GF CDOs to periodically verify that data sharing rules and rule owners are up to date.
As and when required circulate updates and communications that may impact the operation of the DataVisa process.
Own and maintain all DataVisa process information e.g. FAQs, Process Maps and training materials.
Review and submit new data sharing rules to the Data Privacy Operating Committee for approval.
Produce and present Management Information e.g. KPIs & Status Updates at the Data Privacy Operating Committee.


To be a successful candidate you need to have:

Have an understanding of Data Privacy, Data Sharing and/or have an understanding of regulatory challenges and operational processes.
Proven experience in risk management, compliance or data protection/privacy
Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills at all levels
Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills and an excellent command of the English language
Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Experience within a regulatory environment and exposure to regional regulations e.g. GDPR
