Data Catalogue Manager
Miejsce pracy: KrakówWe’re currently looking for Data Catalogue Manager with a passion to drive implementation and become BAU proxy product owner of Group Data Cataloguing capability within Group CDO organization.
Responsibilities:
The Data Catalogue Manager manages the collection of the GB/GF requirements related to data cataloguing capability, assures that functional design are in line with overall Group Data Management strategy and standards, in particular:
Creation, elicitation and management of Data Catalogue product backlog – including direct communication and advisory to internal stakeholders
Use case for data catalogue idea generation, participation to relevant committees to present value proposition
Collaboration with other Data Management product owners to assure consistency of end2end Data Management capability
Using knowledge and expertise to provide recommendations to onboard data products into catalogue solution across GB/GFs
Providing functional expertise and collaborating with GB’s and GF’s to determine their data cataloguing needs / demands through understanding of their use cases and associated requirements
Supporting the delivery of a holistic and integrated Group Data Management strategy
Assisting in the development of communities of practice bringing together expertise from across the organisation
Assisting with new technology proof of concept’s to test functionality and suitability of a product / design
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience of at least 3 years working in a data-related role
data management, data architecture or data engineering
Good knowledge and understanding of the power and value of data with an ability to apply technology solutions to meet business needs / requirements and deliver organisational strategy.
Experienced in dealing with senior stakeholders and rationalising cross line of business and function priorities
Strong influence and leadership skills to drive adoption of data catalogue product
Ability to prioritise work with competing or conflicting demands
Ability to set and manage objectives and ensure delivery of team objectives with time, budget and resource constraints
Proven strength in conceptual and logical thinking, ability to abstract information and look at the bigger picture.
Sound judgment, keen sense of urgency, and high level of professional and personal integrity
Not required but desired: Experience in implementation of the solutions supported by graph database and semantic web
