Our Client is a specialist asset manager with over 28 years’ history. Company manage €28.7bn of assets in third party funds and proprietary capital, principally in closed end funds. Their strategy is to grow their specialist asset management activities to deliver increased shareholder value. Their goal is to generate income and consistently high returns whilst protecting against investment downside for our fund investors. The Fund Performance Analytics & Risk Team consists of 5 people based out of London and Warsaw offices. It provides analytical support to portfolio managers, the marketing team, answers queries from investors as well as provides regular performance reporting.
Data Analyst - Fund Performance Analytics & Risk Team
Duties:
- Due to the expansion of the business our Client is seeking for a candidate who will gradually become responsible for the maintenance of static data across Company's systems. She or he will also be actively involved in projects related to data quality and maintenance and will work closely with both the other members of the performance analytics team, who are the main users of data as well as the data manager in London and external service/software providers.
- The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to: maintenance of static data across credit funds’ systems
- participation in projects in relation to data quality, setup & reporting
- assisting members of the performance analytics team with ad hoc internal and investor queries
- assisting data manager and IT in London with data projects
Requirements:
- Good spoken and written English
- Analytical with strong MS Excel
- Excel VBA and/or SQL programming skills an advantage
- Attention to detail
- Well organized
- Experience with data management tools
- Willingness to travel to London for training
