THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Gelderland Netherlands.
They sell dairy end products in the B2B market in Holland, Belgium and Germany. Because of growth in the company, especially in the German Market, they are looking to expand the team with a new sales professional.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
In this commercial role you will be working in the Netherlands and Germany. New business development and building on existing clients are the two main responsibilities on a daily basis. Most of the time you will be working out of the office in The Netherlands and you independently visit clients in these countries. You are the sales professional who will sell the dairy products to the B2B clients and build on a long term relation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In brief: you hunt for new contracts, develop business and build lasting relationships.
To do this you
- understand German culture well and negotiate your way in
- follow up!
- travel as necessary
- develop knowledge of dairy ingredients to offer the best possible support
You report to the sales manager.
REQUIREMENTS
- You will have a bachelor or master degree in food technology. Or you need a lot of practical experience with Dairy products and ingredients.
- You have at least 2 years of experience in an accountmanager position within the food industry, preferred in Dairy.
- You are fluent in Dutch, English and have an intermediate knowledge of German.
- You have strong commercial skills.
- Teamwork is important for you.
