Customer Support Engineer

Miejsce pracy: Kraków

Responsibilities:

  • You would be analyzing and solving issues of the ServiceGrid integration and all involved technologies ranging from second to third level complexity.
  • You would be managing the internal support tools, and customer SLAs.
  • You would participate in testing new technologies and their integration into ServiceGrid (Releases & Features).
  • You would engage our customers in new and exciting ways.
  • You would coordinate the support process with customers and other the company engineers.
  • You would leverage the ServiceGrid application to create new solutions that fit specific requirements.
  • You would write technical specifications, documenting your created solutions.
  • You would drive integration testing with customers.

"Must have" Qualifications:

  • Desire to help others & solve problems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to explain complicated topics in a structured manner.
  • Excellent English both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of, experience in debugging, or have used any of these in the past: XML / XSLT / WSDL / SOAP / JSON / REST-APIs / HTML / CSS / Javascript / PHP / Java / Perl / Python / Bash / Vim / regex / SQL / postgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of software and scripting.

"Nice to have" Qualifications:

  • Background in Customer Support.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in software development (e.g. OOP, Script-Languages, etc).
  • Experience with IT Service Management software.
  • Experience with: Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio / Altova XML Spy / Oxygen XML editor / SoapUI / Postman / Wireshark / Apache Tomcat / Apache HTTP Server / Linux / Mac / Unix / git.
  • Experience in requirements gathering, gap analysis, testing and documentation.
  • Methodical and structured style of working.
  • Strong analytical mind.
  • Experience with Technology.
  • Experience in developing software.
  • Experience with Client - Server B2B communication over TCP/IP such as SOAP.
  • Knowledge of the OSI-Layers.
  • Knowledge of basic networking (e.g. CCNA).
  • Experience with ITSM systems (Remedy, Service Now etc).

Approximate duration of assignment: 1 year, possible extension - depending on needs. But the intention is to extend the contract.
