Customer Service Manager

Currently for our Client Guardian Industries based in Katowice we are looking for an experienced Customer Service Manager.


Responsibilities:

  • You will take full responsibility of Export and Specialty segment team. This includes: orders coordination, development of customer-supplier relationship in collaboration with outside sales representatives, and follow-up of customers’ files and requests.
  • As an Export Manager you will be responsible for Export business outside of Europe in Asia, Middle East, Americas and Oceania.
  • In that scope, you will identify and understand your customer’s needs and provide them with the most suitable solution for their business activities.
  • You will work in close cooperation with marketing, finance, technical, logistics, production, and shipping. Furthermore, you will also be responsible for business results. This requires a deep knowledge of your markets and customers, as well as production and logistics constraints.
Principle accountabilities:

  • Lead, develop and transform Export and Specialty team.
  • Full ownership of Export business out of Europe
  • Build up a strategy and initiate improvement projects.
  • Ensure that the direct reports with the right values are hired, developed and retained.
  • Connect the team to the sales and supply chain strategies and priorities
  • Report on sales metrics
  • Prepare monthly forecasts/sales reports
  • Monitor customer feedback and help resolve complaints
  • Resolve customs and logistics issues
  • Coordinate and supervise payment procedures internally and with outside sales
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships external and internally, mainly with the Supply chain team and the Outside sales team Involvement in claims handling and customer service improvements for the business
  • Ensure that the team maximizes the sales and margins at the customers of their responsibility
Desired skills and experience:

  • Ability to work with people and through people with aptitude in building relationships
  • Strong sense of Service / Customer Focus
  • Experience in export, knowledge on customs and export logistics.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a great sense of initiative
  • Inside or outside sales experience
  • Experience of leading a team
  • Manage through coaching, able to develop the company culture
  • Sound economic thinking
  • Drive for continuous improvement
  • Proven track record of implementing change successfully
  • Able to set effective measures and drive accountability.
  • Fluent in English. Other foreign languages would be a strong advantage.

You will report to Inside Sales Manager located in European Headquarters.
