Across multiple energy-intensive industries, the business provides customers with end-to-end product and service solutions that help ensure the reliability and protection of their electrical infrastructure. The Customer Excellence Cost Leader is to drive function productivity and partner to Customer Excellence Leader managing +50M Variable & Base budget. Key focus areas include BC/ VC closing, pacing and planning, developing productivity measurements and providing financial insights/ requirements to achieve targets, and day-to-day Ops team support as well as drive cost and HC productivity.
Tasks:
- Ownership for complex analysis and full reporting around base & variable cost of global Customer Excellence team;
- Being key point of contact for Global Executive Finance Leaders and their teams (including Manufacturing Plants) to clarify KPIs and dynamics on the respective area;
- Participate/ drive closing/ planning/ forecasting activities in respecting area;
- Own pacing mechanism including leading meetings/calls around to identify and ensure corrective actions and improvements are fully executed;
- Drive Project Managers/Requisition Engineering productivity;
- Calculate and manage direct labor standard cost rate;
- Prepare variation of plan analysis, identify drivers and necessary actions to offset;
- Focus on projects profitability regarding requisition engineering input;
- Support in the logic design of new KPIs, reports, models.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or equivalent in knowledge/experience);
- Significant experience in financial roles, with preference on finance analysis;
- Ability to interact cross-functionally and works independently, taking initiatives in challenging situations;
- Effective problem identification and solution skills;
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressure;
- Proven analytical and organizational ability;
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Advanced Excel skills;
- Experience in SAP will be an advantage;
- Fluency in English – written & spoken.
