Our client is a professional Agriculture organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.
The company of our client is a well-established worldwide based agricultural fruit business. They conduct major activities in seed and fruit operation, for many different users. Their focus is aimed at cultivation and increase capability in operations. Cultivation, Quality and development go hand in hand here and result into their success.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Cultivation/Location manager you are in charge for managing the companies greenhouses cultivation departments. You will be leading and developing these operations, build on innovation and planning. You will also act immediately on the production site and enhance the team performance. This will exist out of development of new strategies, future trend assessments and teamwork.
Furthermore, you will assess current operational and cultivation programs. Doing so in order to enable the work environment to advance in operations, work performance and process. RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform your role most efficient you will need to showcase experience and knowledge in the following areas:
• Enhance and innovate on team performance within production and operation activities
• Manage the greenhouse technicians, Breeders, operators and department heads
• Focus on strategic goals for future end user/B2B needs
• Ensure alignment between operations and breeding programs including Commercial/Business implementations
• Further improve strategic communication among the departments/teams
REQUIREMENTS
• MSc/BSc in Agricultural related field
• Over 10 years of experience in the Crops Sciences as seed or vegetable or flower or fruit cultivation/operations
• Strong operations track record
• Fluent in writing and speaking Dutch, English and a second language is a plus
• Hands-on mentality to anticipate to the daily operations
• A natural team leader with mentoring abilities
