One of our clients, lead investment bank, one of the most powerful financial organization is looking for Group CTO to ensure the Group Technology application and data landscape can enable strategic needs & ambitions and accelerate transformation
Job brief
We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for one of technology groups to provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our business.
Focus areas
- Cloud strategy: manage migration roadmaps, manage costs, tracking applications, data strategy, demand management
- Innovation: PoCs, developing prototypes, TOM development
- Technology: technology selection, vendor roadmaps, group/firm-wide technology workgroups
- Optimization: manage enterprise debt, plan decomissioning, infrastructure analysis and run cost review
- Architecture and design: program design reviews, transition state reviews, solution architecture reviews
- Digital management: newsletters, social networking, education planning, content development, knowledge management
- Digital culture: hackathons, track working groups, COEs, business relations
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop technical aspects of the digital strategy to ensure alignment with its business/company goals
- Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage
- Build and improve IT delivery, cloud migration and security compliance processes
- Establish, review and improve KPI/SLA framework to assess technological performance
- Use stakeholders' feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
- Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors

Requirements
- Experience as a CTO or similar leadership role for large company (500FTE+)
- Proven record of enterprise cloud-based solutions management, migration strategy and innovation
- Strong enterprise architecture skills
- Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy
- Understanding of budgets and business-planning
- Ability to conduct technological analyses and research
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership and organizational abilities
- Strategic thinking
- Problem-solving aptitude
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus
