Automation Project Engineer
Lokalizacja: KrakówFor our Client, we are looking for the best Candidate for the position Automation Project Engineer
Main responsibilities:
- Designing, reviewing and implementing both the software and hardware components of a
control system from instrumentation to operator HMI - Reading and reviewing PI&Ds and system schematics
- Designing, reading and implementing control system function block logic
- Implementing safe control system design and HMI user friendliness
- Working with vendors and following up deliveries
Required qualifications:
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in one of the engineering fields: Mechatronics, Cybernetics, Chemical, Electrical, Computer Science or equivalent with focus on industrial process control
- 2+ or 5+ years of experience (depending on seniority level) with configuration and design of industrial control systems on the hardware, software or modeling side
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC, Profibus, Profinet, HART or other
- Natural drive towards automation of tasks and processes
- Experience in using textual or visual coding languages such as VBA and LabView
- Working knowledge of the Bash (Unix shell)
- Understanding dynamics within linear and non-linear systems in general
- Basic skills in networking and the Windows and Linux operating system
- Basic knowledge of IoT and cloud-based architecture and solutions
- Ability to effectively operate in the project team environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English (C1)
- Willingness to travel, also on a short notice up to 20% of working time
