With its administration, insourcing and risk management services, the company focuses on the administration and structuring of funds, securities, real assets as well as alternative asset classes and offers complex risk management solutions.
To achieve our ambitious growth goals and to further grow our Controlling team in Krakow we are currently looking for a Controller(m/f/d).
Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Project Controlling
o Prepare financial one-pager for each project
o Provide monthly reporting to project management office
o Prepare senior management reporting on financials for project portfolio (including tracking of project KPIs)
o Review, validate and challenge project business cases
• Month-end close related tasks
o Support cost governance tasks in terms of monthly expense review and regular reporting to senior management
o Support various Controlling-specific ad-hoc tasks and analyses (headcount, revenues, expenses, projects)
o Maintain and further develop the management control system, including profitability analysis, KPIs etc.
• Take backup responsibility for other Controlling roles in Krakow with the option to permanently take on additional responsibility for these tasks
• Maintain and enhance Controlling related IT landscape (i.a. new BI tools like PowerBI)
• Support innovation, automation and digitalization in a flexible, solution-oriented and pragmatic approach
• Other regular and ad-hoc financial controlling tasks as deemed necessary
What you offer:
As successful candidate, you will bring the following:
• Master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related subject
• Experience in Microsoft Office (esp. Excel) and SAP (or other accounting systems). Practical knowledge in reporting (BI) tools would be a plus
• Experience in leading transformative change, delivering process efficiencies through simplification, automation & standardization
• Passionate about digitalization, new technologies and business transformation
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of enabling technology typically used within a financial services organization
• Strong interpersonal skills to network, communicate and influence at senior management levels
• Client centric mindset and superior customer service focus
• Fluent in English
• German language skills would be a plus
