The Company

Janssen develops treatments for some of the most devastating disorders and complex medical challenges of our times, including cancer, hepatitis, HIV/AIDS, diabetes, arthritis, dementia, and mental disorders. We focus our research on six strategic pathological areas: oncology, neurosciences, infectious diseases and vaccines, immunology, cardiovascular and metabolic disorders and pulmonary hypertension. They are wholly owned by Johnson & Johnson (J&J).

Role Description

The J&J International Contract Database (ICD) is the homegrown contract lifecycle management system, deployed by the Johnson & Johnson Law Department across the globe. ICD is designed to help J&J companies manage their contracting process. The system provides a structured mechanism for creating, signing and filing contracts, and makes key contract details and copies of the actual contract documents readily accessible in a secured environment. The software is interfaced with different external business packages to support local business processes as well as comply with global compliance regulations. Any type of contract can be uploaded in ICD and tracked by the system. The system can manage numerous types of contracts and legal natures, such as distribution agreements, IP license agreements, consultant contracts, speaker agreements, sales agreements, non-disclosure, software licensing, R&D contracts, and many others.

The Consultant will work closely with J&J Law Department, J&J Technology, external service providers and internal users to provide day to day business support services, including:

Responsibilities

Main Roles:
• ICD deployment: work with internal J&J stakeholders to optimize the use of ICD for contract portfolio management, develop strategic roll out plans for new users (including drafting project charter, budget estimates, and execution plans) and manager the end to end process of deployment
• Build a strong network with the J&J stakeholders and external service providers
• Facilitate feedback/input from the ICD end-users for potential system enhancements
• Support the ICD Core Management Team in developing a communication strategy.

Additional Roles:
• Setup communication channels with the ICD user community
• Facilitate user networking
• Maintain the ICD user documentation (Confluence)
• Assist ICD organizations by collecting the requirements and understand the workflow processes for building electronic contract request forms
• Supervise the development and validation of a generic “one size fits all” Contract Request Forms (CRF) and provide end user training thereto
• Run periodic data-quality checks (aftercare)
• Facilitate feedback/input taking from ICD stakeholders for potential system enhancements / support
• Increase knowledge sharing by making sure training materials are available.
• Support the ICD Core Management Team in developing a training strategy.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
• Five to seven years of experience in similar roles
• Experience in project management
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel)
• Ability to handle numerous tasks and projects with deadlines in a matrix organizational model
• Business analytical skills and strong business acumen
• Extremely motivated, energetic, able to work well independently and with others.
