For our client, a medical device manufacturer part of an American corporation we are looking for candidates for a position:
Construction Division Manager - injection moldingMiejsce pracy: Warszawa
Responsibilities:
- Define and successfully manage plant portfolios: capital, cost reduction, Performance Excellence, new product development.
- Define, manage, and support continuous improvement of existing manufacturing processes.
- Manage and maintain plant facilities. Meet all safety and environmental regulatory requirements.
- Manage engineering department team.
- Lead plant involvement in innovation and product development processes to insure effective transfer of new products and processes to manufacturing.
- Establish a culture that values engineering competency and deployment of the scientific method.
- Assure growth in talent and capability of the plant engineering staff.
- Build an effective technical network of relationships at the plant, division, and corporate level.
- Increase the body of knowledge in support of advancing plant and process technologies and capabilities.
- Champion Performance Excellence and other corporate manufacturing engineering initiatives as required.
- Define the strategy and priority for areas needing improvement
- Lead the new product development regional launch process including supplier/customer quality issue resolution as well as local regulatory requirements and intellectual property management.
- Drive regional department project portfolio to meet immediate and ongoing business needs including ongoing management of regional department resources and budgets
- Interface with Division Regulatory to understand and implement and country specific product requirements.
- Develop regional metrics to evaluate customer feedback and lead improve efforts
- Manage the technical aspects of projects involving key customer accounts.
- Coach and develop direct employees
Requirements:
- Master Degree with technical discipline and/or major Science degree
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Engineering and product design (preferably in an equipment manufacturing environment) with 5 years of experience in a plant engineering at management role.
- Deep and broad knowledge of plastic parts design and injection molding process.
- Previous supervisory experience across multiple locations
- Experience at engineering leadership including engineering department supervisor experience.
- Experience leading teams and departments in meeting continuous improvement goals, making step change process improvements, managing innovation, and expanding technical capability.
- CAD (Pro/Engineer)
- Fluent English
- Presentation and Project Management skills
