Description
We are part of the international ALTEN Group, which brings together over 28,000 outstanding IT and Engineering specialists around the world. We currently are looking for an Configuration SW Engineer who will join our team to deliver the most innovative technology projects.
Main tasks
- Configuration SW developer will be responsible for design, creation and maintenance of the build and integration framework for product SW.
- He will be engaged in creating dedicated framework that can be used over multiple projects allowing highest level of test and verification automation. All of those activities will be supported by designing and creating test environment scripts to perform system, acceptance, regression, functional and performance tests with recording and analysis of results.
- Identifying tasks and functions that could be further improved through automation. Work with other team members to track backlog items.
- Provide documentation of developed code and tests.
- Reviewing code and tests for quality and finding weaknesses.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Jenkins (pipelines and pipelines scripts).
- Being familiar with the build process of C language project (pre-processing, linking , memory maps, binary outputs)
- Familiar with binary files layout (bin, hex, sx)
- Scripting languages: Python, Batch Perl (at least at mid advanced level)
- Experience with versioning tools like Plastic, Git Working with JIRA as a ticketing system
- English B2
Optional skills
- Knowledge of the SCRUM methodology Good to have: knowledge of the C#, .NET
- Actively seeking solution to provide support for the development team
- Creating and optimization of the automation scripts for SW build, testing and HW interfacing
