THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Medical Devices organization, based in Noord-Brabant Netherlands.
The company is an international company and their Medical Devices department is located in Eindhoven.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a component engineer your focus will be on selection, qualification and accurate registration of off-the-shelf components.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the increasing demand from our clients businesses for component content management and supporting the roll out of Windchill (cPLM).
• Actively support our clients businesses globally and provide technical support to your team on Component Management.
• Actively support improvement of CM methods and way-of-working.
• Selection, qualification and introduction of new components in the component database.
• Ensure complete, accurate and up-to-date component data in the component database.
• Lead root cause analysis and improvement actions for component related issues.
REQUIREMENTS
• BSc/MSc degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant area of expertise.
• Experience in Component management and lifecycle management.
• Experience in database management and data modelling, data migration, reporting, master data management and data cleansing (all related to component management).
• Competence in the area of Electronic Design and business models is a plus.
