You will have the opportunity to work with an excellent manufacturing organisation based in northern Poland.
This Management role will be responsible for build and implement category sourcing strategies and set ambitious and realistic savings targets for the lead category/-ies. You will lead centralized direct or indirect sourcing and procurement efforts with focus on sustainability, and assessing supplier long/short term risk. It will be your responsibility to develop relationships with suppliers, negotiate prices, look for new sources of supply, evaluate and recommend suppliers. You should demonstrate proactive category approach to secure being on the forefront of key trends and overall development in the market.
We need an experienced commodity manager, that has proven experience with the procurement of materials (preferably steel, wood, plastics, aluminum), preferably within a manufacturing or engineering environment. You have to be experienced with building and executing sourcing strategies based on market data and detailed data analysis. To be successful on this position you should have experience with establishing and developing supplier partnerships, supplier risk management. Alongside this you need to demonstrate professional and engaging communications skills and knowledge of negotiation. English is a must.
