For our Client, an international Company form HVAC industry located near Wroĉaw, we are searching for Candidates for a Commodity Buyer position.
Reporting directly to an Operational Director, the person on this position will be mainly responsible for defining sourcing strategy and its implementation for selected commodities. Moreover, his/her scope of obligations will include initiating and maintaining cost reduction activities and supplier quality improvements. What is more, the Commodity Buyer will be accountable also for supplier sourcing and conducting negotiations with suppliers regarding pricing and other terms and conditions as well as managing commercial contract details. Cooperation with Logistics Department is also a part of this position.
To be successful in this role you should have at least 2 years of professional experience on a similar position in Purchasing Departments in production companies and a University Degree. Our Client requires also good negotiating and sourcing skills. A perfect Candidate should also present an independent and responsible approach to his/her everyday work as well as great communicative skills which would enable him to work effectively as a part of a team. Due to international work environment, fluent command of English is a must.
