For our client, leading FMCG company we are looking for candidates on the position of Commercial Finance Business Partner or Commercial Finance Junior Business Partner, depending on your experience. As a Commercial Finance Partner, you’ll be responsible for contributing towards the achievement of company’s Commercial Finance strategies through excellent financial advice and management information. The role requires you to develop a sound control framework to underpin your financial knowledge and commercial awareness across Pricing, Revenue and Finance functions.
Detailed job description
- Act as Finance Business Partner providing input and support to budget holders with budget estimation, cost management, pricing and revenue management.
- Drive resource allocation and budget processes compliant with internal guidelines and timelines.
- Set-up, lead and ensure Internal Controls are implemented and well monitored.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of budget stakeholders, drive and prepare post implementation review, provide and interpret performance measurement statements and analyses.
- Prepare financial reporting, liaison over systems issues: reconciling SAP and SRM systems.
- Represent Finance function during meetings ensuring finance agenda, objectives and governance are sound and counted in decision making process.
- Perform presentations to Senior Management.

- Good understanding of pricing and revenue issues in commercial environment.
- Proven experience of preferably 2 years (1 at minimum) in finance (preferably in FMCG).
- Higher education in Accountancy & Finance area.
- Ability to challenge existing ideas and persuade others.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build effective working relationships.
- Commitment and reliability with a strong sense of responsibility for getting results.
- Excellent time management skills.
- CIMA or ACCA qualifications as a plus.
- Experience in working with Finance integrated packages (SAP would be advantageous).
