Job Title
For our client, an international company located in Warsaw, We are currently looking for: Commercial Finance Analyst
Your new role
You will work with local commercial and finance teams to support business opportunities implementation, on-board or phase out customers in a timely manner, negotiate and influence contractual terms with a partner including implementation of appropriate securitisation terms and conditions. You will also manage commercial contracts by creating and maintaining a database of commercial conditions for the Basel trading organization to ensure appropriate controls and governance as well as assess contractual terms vs business model to ensure compliance with legal and corporate guidelines. Implementing necessary amendments/modifications to agreements in a timely manner, aligning legal department and business owners on legal related topics and documentation, ensuring implemented prices and commercial conditions are aligned with the contractual obligations as well as implementing rebate agreements in SAP, manual accruals, reconciliation of accruals status on regular basis in timely manner will also be Your responsibility. You will review and improve rebate system structure for a market/customer to maximize leverage while ensuring compliance with corporate policies, support and provide timely guidance to appropriate export markets teams to contribute to business continuation and development (tenders, ICC, Incoterms, bid and performance bonds) and contribute to credit management activities by ensuring consistency of credit management approach across the regions and business areas. Lastly You will develop, roll out and maintain operational procedures aligned with applicable regulations, policies and procedures (Permanent Establishment, GMP/Finance, FRAP, Trade Sanctions, Anti-Boycott, SOX etc.), perform financial planning, regular evaluation and analysis of financial performance indicators to assigned countries/regions and lead small to mid-sized scale projects based on set objectives
What you'll need to succeed
You need sound (3-5 years) experience in commercial finance and trade finance (preferable in export environment – but not necessary). Ability to influence affiliate to take action and adjust pricing and commercial conditions when necessary, understanding of macro and micro economics, solid understanding of the most common risk mitigating tools and fluent English both written and spoken. You also need to be on advanced level of data analysis skills, reporting consolidation and forecasting as well as MS Excel. Experience in SAP is a must.
