THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Brussel Belgium.
This client is a sweets and confectionary giant with a main office located in chocolate capital Brussels. You will be present on the plant for 30% of the time and spend the rest travelling around Belgium to market the products toward the foodservice industry.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
You follow up on business pulled by your seniors as well as attract new business yourself. For this, you focus on in-store activations and cooperate with your colleagues from marketing. Through developing a strong network in foodservice, you create opportunities for yourself and run a business within the business. The role allows for personal responsibility, if you are up to the task of taking it. You translate market needs into action plans.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Implementing the commercial plans
• Forecasting seasonal changes, contributing to volume forecasting
• Attracting new business
• Developing client relations and cross-selling
REQUIREMENTS
• MSc in Commerce or Food technology
• 5+ years of sales experience in Food/FMCG
• Affinity with sweets
• Experience in the Foodservice
• Open personality, relationship builder, commercial mindset to never say never
• Travel through Belgium can take up to 70% of the job
OTHER
Candidates have to be located in Belgium and have a thorough understanding of the Belgian market. Both French and Dutch are a must to communicate with client and stakeholders.
