Our Client, an international organisation, a globally recognised brand, due to expansion on the polish market is looking for a few procurement talents. There is a role of Category Manager available. This is the role where you can truly make your own mark and bring new ideas to help build a World Class Procurement function, delivering an excellent procurement service across European Countries. The position is located in Warsaw.
As a Category Manager, you will work mostly within IT Category. This role has responsibility for delivering significant IT procurement projects within the organisation, contributing to the overall IT procurement strategy. You will act as key advisor on IT procurement matters to senior international stakeholders, will deliver major IT procurement projects and ensure that compliant processes are conducted, Value for Money is achieved and business outcomes are delivered.
The successful candidate will have a few years proven experience in a Purchasing role and will demonstrate purchasing/ procurement competence and successful negotiation skills within IT Category (preferably within IT services or software) on an international scale. Due to the complexity of this procurement role, you must have experience working with a wide range of stakeholders. Demonstrable expertise of end-to-end procurement is key with a self-motivated and results focused approach to work. Fluency in English both written and spoken is a must as well as strong analytical skills. Polish is not required.
