Your new role
The Business Transformation Consultant has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation,
planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closing of selected projects included in GBS
project portfolio.
The Transformation Consultant as the authority to act within this functional description and within the
chart of authority as outlined in the company's Global Integrated Management System (GIMS).
Main responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and implement global projects of varying size in the GBS project portfolio according to our defined project management standards – projects related to digitalization, optimization, process automation and organizational change
- Actively promote continuous improvement in the organization and actively identify, analyze and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvement opportunities as well as support on qualifying improvement ideas into concrete initiatives and projects
- Facilitate and foster close collaboration between GBS functions and towards business divisions
- Ensure focus on qualitative and quantitative project objectives and improvements and ensure that benefits are measured (KPIs), followed-up and realized
- Support GBS functions in developing, prioritizing and managing their improvement and transformation roadmaps
- Support definition, implementation and conduction of GBS PMO processes
- Take an active role in further improving and professionalizing our project management standards, capabilities and ways of working within the GBS Transformation office
- Support on ad-hoc analysis/business case and business development initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
Mandatory requirements
- Master’s degree within relevant field with good / excellent academic results
- 1-3 years of experience within similar position, preferably from management consulting
- Experience from implementation projects in global organizations
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships across functions and regions
- Ability to act on own initiative in a proactive, structured and empowered manner
- Good interpersonal, influencing and networking skills
- Highly motivated team player
- Attention to details, and ability to set and meet objectives
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
