Your new role
The Business Project Manager will work as part of the Business Applications team covering a specific functional area. You will work with a variety of business and IT stakeholders, supporting the applications, processes and data covering projects.You will work closely with business users who use IT applications and data to support them in their business operations and enable them to use the applications to their best advantage. At a data level, you will act as a Data Steward, for projects data, helping to maintain control of the data and advising business users of how best to use the data for reporting and BI.
This is not a pure business or technology role - as a functional expert, you will act as an interface between the business operations and the IT function, providing broad coverage of functional and data requirements, management and development.

Your new role

Holding this role your main tasks (both in PM/data area) will be:
- Custodian of the business processes ensuring consistency across business units
- Custodian of the application configurations enabling the business processes
- To provide functional expertise, enhancing the skills and knowledge of business users in their level of expertise in using the applications
- To actively contribute to the successful migration to the new ERP system
- To provide functional support to the business users of applications and data
- To act as a Data Steward for your projects data, providing reports and guidance on the quality of data, issues, errors or incompatibilities, within the context of reporting and BI needs
- To support the migration of data from the legacy systems to the new ERP system
- To provide analysis of the current state of the functional data (including legacy data)
- To support the consolidation and preparation of data for projects reporting
- To support the archiving of historical application data and activities to decommission legacy applications
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management/ERP management/business management and analysis
- Professional qualification in projects or related area
- Advanced written and verbal English
- IT Literate with experience of MS Office tools and collaboration
- Ability to understand and follow strategic and tactical objectives
- Experience with financial data & reporting, chart of accounts, financial consolidation
- Problem solving / analysis skills
- Business process design / documentation
- Any French/Dutch/Italian/Polish language skills will be considered as an advantage
