*Business Intelligence and Data Analyst*
Based on Industrial Engineering family, I’m looking for candidate more focused in BI (Business Intelligence) and Data Analytics:
Key responsibilities:
• including data exploration and analysis, dashboards and reports, and develop relevant strategies for offering solutions to those needs.
• Conduct research and identify opportunities for designing new BI, DW and Analytics solutions to solve complex operations problems, lift constraints, and maximize the strengths of the FedEx Express.
• Develop strategic plans and roadmaps for mining, storage, integration, staging, consumption and management of data as required to meet business needs and ensure rapid availability of information;
• Design and develop logical database schemata, data models, and data integration processes; develop information architectures; manage data design, content, and definitions
• Maintain close partnership with collaborating departments e.g., ITD with respect to any technology systems review and/or technology selection

The right Business Intelligence Analyst will have many aspects of the following profile:
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar disciplines
- Post-graduate degree preferred but not necessary
- At least five (5) years’ experience in designing, developing, and implementing Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse and Analytics solutions, with at least two (2) years’ experience managing and leading BI projects
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Proven experience in designing, developing and implementing BI and DW solutions in a range of leading platforms (e.g. Oracle, MSSQL, Teradata, Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Proven experience in building database schemata and logical data models
- Expert knowledge of common relational and multidimensional database systems and data structures; including systems performance management
- Up to date knowledge of developments in the BI/DW solutions industry, as well as established and emerging big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Hive, Spark, BigTable, Hana, Vertica)
- Good working knowledge of major operating systems (including Linux and MS Windows)
- Willing to learn to work with new tools and technologies to be able to respond to changing business needs
- Proven track record of being able to plan, prioritize, estimate, and deliver projects on time (project management qualifications considered a plus)
- Able to work in teams and possesses strong communication skills, in order to work with business representatives and verify that business needs are met
- Able to understand business needs and translate needs into technical specific requirements
- Applies knowledge of systems and processes to develop business case and business requirement documents
- Able to analyse and resolve problems, issues and concerns related to assigned projects with the objective to ensure the projects are executed efficiently, effectively and on-time
- Ability to mentor others and lead medium/large projects
- Proven experience working with remote teams
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
