The key function of this role is to generate interest in, and convert opportunities from, structured sales campaigns through personal networking, cold calling and meeting/event attendance.

The Business Development Manager will develop and progress business opportunities by helping to ensure that fit for purpose solutions are delivered in line with each client's individual requirements.

For our Client, a fast growing technology company, we are seeking a Business Development Manager who will share the same passion, drive and enthusiasm for cloud computing.

Description

  • Achieve annual, monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Identify methods to promote and accelerate achievement of sales goals in the Region
  • Penetrate assigned accounts, including new business, renewals and upsell
  • Directly manage ongoing relationships with accounts in region, as appropriate
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual agreements
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of potential clients sufficient to exceed annual sales goals
  • Working in partnership with a number of departments within the Group, including Solutions Architects and Operations
  • Work collaboratively with our Customer Success team to ensure successful new client onboarding along with a white glove level of support
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years successful experience selling cloud technology and/or business software
  • Ability to demonstrate a detailed understanding of complex solution selling
  • Broad understanding of internet technologies
  • Capable of successfully networking at all levels of the decision making cycle
  • A strong technical aptitude to pitch technically
  • A consultative sales style, strong experience selling solutions and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
