THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional Biotechnology, Clinical Research and Pharmaceutical organization, based in Netherlands.

Strives to deliver a streamlined pharmaceutical services for the pharma and Biotech industry. Their mission is to become an international single source contractor for pharmaceutical needs.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

In the first months as our Business Development Director you will be trained to become the expert in our services. A big part of these first months you will familiarize yourself with our customers by completing desk research and gaining a landscape of the potential. Of course a big part of this will be competitor analysis to understand our unique selling points.
You will based in Amsterdam, or your home office and travel frequently:
- 2 weekly trips to US
- 5 trips of 2/3 days in the DACH region
- 3/4 conferences yearly

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Deliver territory revenue
- Building long term relationships
- Identify customer needs and new customers
- Maintain a good relationship with current customers
- Execute administrative responsibilities
- Attend international meetings

REQUIREMENTS

- Bsc in Chemistry or Biochemistry
- Relevant Business Development experience or Sales experience in a CRO/CMO/CDMO environment
- At least 5 years of Business development or Sales experience
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Willingness to travel 50%
- Availability 100%
