Client Details
For our client, a dynamically growing telecom company, we're recruiting for the position of Business Controller.
Description
Support the month-end reporting to the finance manager, area management and consolidation department
- Manage timely and accurate management reports in line with corporate financial procedures and local management needs
- Support the accounting department In its day to day accounting tasks.
- Have an awareness of pending tax issues and interpretations
- Provide guidance to non-financial members of the management team on financial issues
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes (systems, consolidation, analysis and reporting)
- Respect internal controls according to corporate policies and procedures
- Have an awareness of ongoing issues/objectives/corporate direction & initiatives. Keep abreast of current business trends.
- Offer general support to the finance manager and the general manager as required.
- Participate in special European finance projects.
Profile
- A qualified professional with minimum 3 -5 years of experience in a finance/controlling role
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) will be an added value
- Strong mix of technical financial knowledge along with commercial acumen
- Experience in Retail, FMCG, Pharma or Telecom would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills and entrepreneurial thinking
- Pro-active, open-minded person
- Good understanding of systems applications
- Advanced skills in Ms Excel, SAP knowledge would be an asset
- Fluency in English is a must
