Client Details
Our client, a well-established market leader, seeks a Business Controller for their Warsaw office. In the future an opportunity to work abroad in a headquarter.
Description
-
Act as a Finance Business Partner and liaise with Financial Directors in Europe in the business planning, reviewing and monitoring financial results and providing financial analyses to support decision making
- To work closely with local companies in different European regions and support these divisions on all financial reporting matters
- Successful candidate must be able to challenge and support these Companies on financial analysis
- The purpose of the role is coordinate corporate reporting requirements to the Group and participate in all internal control improvement processes.
- You will also have responsibility for high quality monthly and quarterly financial reporting to management teams and will provide support for ad hoc finance related projects.
- Proactively challenge and communicate with cluster Finance Managers, local Finance Teams and Vice Presidents in strategic plan preparation, impairment testing and other processes throughout the year
- To consolidate reports and high level commentaries for all key monthly reporting processes
Profile
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in finance, controlling (BIG4 background is an asset)
- Strong knowledge of reporting, budgeting and forecasting, process and demonstrated ability to analyse and validate financial and performance data
- Demonstrated ability to quickly analyze and validate financial and performance data

Ability and desire to work internationally

Very strong analytical and logical skills with ability to draw appropriate conclusions and identify inconsistences

Demonstrated ability to present and defend opinions/conclusions

Experience in manufacturing business will be a plus

Preferably qualified ACCA / CIMA or equivalent

Fluency in English and Polish

Strong IT orientated with excellent knowledge of MS Office

Previous use of HFM/Hyperion beneficial, but not essential

Proven ability to manage workflows with multiple stakeholders in an effective manner

To be an effective team member who demonstrates integrity and trust

Ability to adequately plan and organize own work within tight deadlines and under pressure

Business leader with hands on attitude, with an entrepreneurial mind-set and can do attitude to accompany change
