The Business and Sales Analyst, as a member of the Central Reporting Team CEE, provides deep analysis and decision support for the planning, analysis and reporting function for the CEE organization (across Sales Segments, Subregions and Product Business Groups). The provided service includes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and analysis that can be utilized as the basis for making informed business decisions. Performs analysis and planning activities for operations including pipeline, revenue, forecasting, actual and metrics attainment reporting, primarily focusing. 


The Business and Sales Analyst will be able to document data findings, provide details, and present findings with recommendations to management. The individual will enhance the running of reports and automate and standardize each as necessary. The goal is to create one single source of truth when it comes to data reporting across the CEE Area.


The position will also involve creation and maintenance of complex spreadsheets as well as PowerBI dashboards and the ability to create reports or presentations from the results. This includes heavy data analysis and research, with the ability to manipulate, analyze, and trend the results. 

In addition, this person must create new methods of communicating financial analysis and reporting to assist the greater executive management team in understanding their business.

  • Ensures availability and provision of relevant revenue and pipeline reports and dashboards to management from standard or created reporting
  • Perform analysis of revenue, pipeline, and trending 
  • Assists management across the CEE organization with specific report and dashboard requests to support strategic and tactical initiatives 
  • Create dashboards highlighting business trends for management
  • Analyze and manage data for metrics for senior management and executives
  • Respond to or track ad-hoc reporting requests and prioritizes against competing efforts
  • Supports establishment of Sales Process rigor and drives related actionable reporting cadence
  • Facilitate and assists with the CEE business review cadence


  • Bachelors Degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar field or equivalent experience
  • Preferable 3-4 years of Business Operations or Financial Analysis or equivalent experience 
  • Preferable experience working in the European market 
  • Software industry background 
  • Fluent in written and verbal English. Additional language skills preferred
  • Advanced level of expertise using Microsoft Office suite
  • Especially advanced Excel and PowerBI skills with strong technical ability to automate Reports (Pivots, Vlookups, Macros, Data Flows, Data Sets and Modelling)
  • Experience with financial modelling and analytical tools such as Excel, databases, etc. Nice to have: experience using Microsoft Dynamics (or an equivalent CRM system), SAP and analytics tools 
  • Strong project manager skills with the ability to take a process from start to finish, including analyzing and understanding the nature of the tasks required to complete the process 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage conflicting priorities and to complete assignments under aggressive time constraints, independently
  • General understanding of Sales Systems and knowledge domains relevant to specific processes and practices (within their application track)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, required 
  • Has an understanding of the people, processes, technology issues and a passion regarding customer service (internal and external) and delivery/execution
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of organization, management levels, cultures, and personalities 
  • Strong drive and will to succeed 
  • Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands; sense of urgency
