Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Antwerpen Belgium.
The company develops and produces medicines and vaccines for a wide range of medical disciplines.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As an experienced and hands-on problem solver, you know that working as a Black Belt within a production environment is challenging, important and no day is the same. You will be part of the Operational Excellence department in Puurs and you will report to the OpEx lead. You will find yourself in a multidisciplinary team that elaborates all aspects of Operational Excellence within the site. Furthermore, you will mainly work as a Black Belt within Six Sigma, but you will also lead other very diverse and challenging projects, using the wide range of OpEx methodologies such as Six Sigma and Human Error Reduction.
As Project Lead and Coach you use many proprietary tools (Six Sigma, Human Error Reduction) to help with the further development and improvement of the organisation.
You come into contact with many stakeholders within the organisation: From work floor to site leadership team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Important aspects in your range of tasks:
- Executing and delivering very diverse problem solving and improvement projects.
- Facilitate projects and coach colleagues in the successful application of Six Sigma and Human Reduction.
- Providing training with regard to Six Sigma and Human Reduction.
- No challenge will knock you out of your way.
- Function specific training that you can follow as standard: Black Belt certification, Human Error Reduction tools, Lean tools.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Engineering or similar experience.
- Experience within a production environment.
- Project and process improvement experience.
- Minimum Green Belt certification, Black Belt certification is an important plus.
- Team player who is familiar in many disciplines.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
