Your new company
For our Client, international automotive company located near Zawiercie, we are currently looking for BI Developer.
Your new role
The BI developer (cloud architecture) will be the expert for designing and implementing new data flows in Azure (Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, Power BI).
You will work in a small but globally responsible and international team and with your expertise enable the transition of legacy (OnPrem) data into Azure with the target to phase out OnPrem solutions.
Hands-On mentality and the capability to juggle with multiple tasks and priorities is key to this role.
The responsibility includes report/dashboard development (-support) with PowerBI.
Training users to enhance self-service BI in the business departments is also a responsibility as well as knowledge transfer within the team. The role interfaces with both, functional and technical staff.
The company started using Power BI 1 year ago in parallel to their existing reporting solution which is built OnPrem and fully based on SQL Server.
The transition towards Power BI and Azure offers a bunch of opportunities to play a part and contribute.
Responsibilities:
• Design and implementation of Azure dataflows using Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse and PowerBI
• Deliver and maintain solutions with multiple data sources and coordinate the necessary processes with cross-functional teams.
• Active stakeholder management and networking with internal and external peers.
• Delivery of client focused services and solutions
• Support the development of potential new data offerings and initiatives for process improvements
• Support solution- or data enhancements with feedback and “proof of concepts”
What you'll need to succeed
Skills & Experience:
• Working in the Business Intelligence sector (Data Management, Reporting solutions, Data Warehousing)
• Delivering BI solutions based on Microsoft technologies
• Proven experience in working with SQL views and procedures
• Working with parquet files, Common Data Model, Pipelines and Python
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements and stakeholders and to juggle priorities
• Thriving in a fast-paced environment
• Pro-active and effective collaboration with others in and across the organisation
• Able to work and think independently
• Is pragmatic, hands-on and able to autonomously analyse
• Experience in supporting complex enterprise-wide solutions
• Experience in global roles. Understanding of cultural sensitivities and time zones
• Advanced level of verbal and written communication in English language
