Their goal is to provide the possibilities for all users - to find the data they need, collaborate on it and easily understand its meaning.
Your new role
As a Backend Engineer you will be building exciting new features for the company's products, together with your team members (fellow developers, QA engineers, an UX experts and a product manager).This means that you’ll share responsibility from beginning to end to deliver great quality software. You will formulate, suggest and implement the new functionalities and then review the code changes from your peers before they go into the main line in Git. QA engineers will be working with you closely to write the necessary tests and give you feedback early in the process.
What you'll need to succeed
Our client is looking for a candidate with minimum 3 years ofprofessional experience in enterprise web application development using Java. You will be expected to present solid knowledge of relational databases and experience working with Hibernate, Spring, IntelliJ IDEA IDE. Knowledge and experience in working with build and test tools like Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, Ant, Junit or Mockito. It will be a huge plus if you have a knowledge of OSGi, Apache Spark/Kafka, Elastic Search, Docker, Kubernetes and database model optimisation.
