Our client is a professional Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands. The company is an international organization which consists of a Laboratories department which exist of multiple test labs. You will be part of the Lab Automation Services team who supports these labs.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As an Automation Engineer Lims you will be responsible for the automation support for the lab systems. Due to your support the standards of data management will be improved. And through translation of user requirements of current and new system needs, into technical specifications and systems the data integrity will be garantueed to follow DI standards. Furthermore as an Automation Engineer you will follow up on GAPS and take lead or participate in lab system initiatives and projects
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support and improvement of current LIMS System
- Translate user requirements of the current and new systems into technical specification and systems
- Due to your support of the Laboratory teams, you improve the quality of the data management systems and standards
- You will follow up GAPS and take lead in Lab Systems initiatives and projects
REQUIREMENTS
- Master Degree Life Sciences or Computer Science
- Background in Software development and experience with Programming, Laboratory experience is considered a plus
- 2 to 5 years of experience
- Projectmanagement Skills
- Written and oral communication skills in English, Dutch is desirable
- Analytical thinking and technical problem solving skills, experience with Lean/ Six Sigma is desirable
