Automation Engineer (Engineering Department)
Reporting to the site Engineering Manager, the Automation Engineer will support manufacturing lines and facility to ensure daily performance, outputs and targets are achieved. This is a new role in organisational structure. We are looking for a person who will utilise technology to improve, streamline and automate manufacturing process.

Description
- Responsible for day to day maintenance and troubleshooting of all manufacturing and plant equipment in timely manner in the range of automation,
- Project management and the introduction of highly automated processes into the business,
- Identifying and confirming business case for new automated processes.
- Cooperating with process experts in the scope of facilitation of process improvements,
- Troubleshooting machine related issues e.g. pneumatic, electrical or software to improve safety and efficiency of automation systems.
- Preparing technical documentation associated with the implementation and validation of new automated processes,
- Suggesting / selecting appropriate equipment for the performance of relevant processes,
- Building and maintaining automation standards at site,
- Work as a part of a team responsible for Capex preparation and introduction into the facility
Profile
- Higher technical education. Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering or similar technical qualification desirable,
- At least 2 to 5 years work experience as Automation Engineer or similar role
- Knowledge of programmable Logic Controllers (PLC & HMI): e.g. Allen-Bradley/ Siemens/ Omron
- Experience in project management as a leader and member of the team
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Very good operational and organisational skills
- Self-reliance in decision-making
- Efficient problem solver
- Effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills
