Person on that position would be responsible for strategy development and execution for assigned commodities (direct).

Our Client is a Global production group, which is a leader in manual safety system industry. In connection with further development plans of the company, among others related to the centralization of tasks in Poland, the Company is currently looking for a person for the position of Associate Commodity Manager, who would be working in the production Plant in Silesia.
Description
-
Strategy development and execution for assigned commodities (direct), both regionally and internationally
-
Collaborate with the wider supply management team to initiate, implement, and support sourcing activities that deliver best value
-
Proactively conduct market analysis / benchmarking, track market trends and emerging technologies, and manage supplier performance.

Develop and manage supplier relationships, product and project portfolios and undertake supplier negotiations through relationship-building to maximize business benefits.

Facilitate commodity contract lifecycle management including price updates.
Profile
-
BS/BA in a Supply Chain related field preferred (Supply Management, Business, Engineering, etc.)
-
At least 2-3 years of experience in procurement/supplier management.

Ideally experience within automotive or white goods industry

Experience in international relationships, project management and supply management
-
Strong leadership qualities including effective interpersonal, and project management skills
-
Fluent in English and available to travel within Europe (30% approx.)
