THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Biotechnology organization, based in Zuid-Holland Netherlands.
The client is a subsidiary of a global pharmaceutical organisation.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
You will be part of the bacterial vaccines department. Your focus will lie with the development of novel vaccines in collaboration with other biotech partners. The goal is to be an addition to the chemical development and analysis in the production and analysis of protein conjugates. This position is an interim position for up to two years.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be part of the group that identifies, designs, produces and characterizes vaccine candidates by making use of experiments that you help set up, execute and analyse. Furthermore you are in charge of daily operation and care of lab notebooks. You will report to the Scientist bio-organic chemistry.
REQUIREMENTS
- If you have a PhD in these fields 1-3 years of industry experience are required
- MSc/PhD in molecular biology with bacterial genetics expertise
- Preferred: Molecular biology techniques: DNA; RNA; Protein-isolation
- Genetic manipulation
- Organised and strong planner
