Description
We are member of French ALTEN Group present in 25 countries around the world and employing over 34,000 engineers and IT specialists. Since 1988 we deliver advanced IT systems for well-known brands, develop medicine and the renewable energy industry. ALTEN innovates aero and cosmonautics, trains, electric and autonomous vehicles, and even space rockets. We are currently looking for Assembly Engineer who will join our team.
Main tasks
- Defining with the manufacturing engineer the specifications for the request of the machines
- Assisting the purchasing department during the request phase
- Analyzing with the suppliers the technical proposals and optimizations and preparing a technical synthesis for the choice of supplier
- Responsible of the technical follow up and validation of the means when the supplier is chosen (design follow up and validation, built follow up and validation)
- Organizing the setting up and final tuning in plant
- Check the technical folder and organizing the training of people in the plant
- Defining the best practices and „lessons learned” at the end of project
Requirements
- University degree (technical, engineering field), specialization in mechanics ideally
- English language – fluent
- Good command of the 2nd foreign language welcome
- 3 year experience with assembly equipment, as plant engineer or in production
- Good communication skills, team player
- Structured and organized
- Willingness to travel
