Luxoft's in-house ad agency, is seeking an Art Director with a deep understanding of visual symbols and cultural trends, combined with the ability to step into the customer's shoes and reflect deep insight visually. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generating clear ideas and concepts in tandem with copywriters
- Producing sketches, storyboards, and roughs to visualize ideas
- Presenting ideas to the Head of Creative for approval and development
- Understanding marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audiences
- Cooperating with the rest of the creative team across different types of media
- Taking work from concept to final execution within deadlines
- Managing and delegating responsibilities to other designers and providing directions
- Presenting completed ideas to clients/team members
- Staying on top of trends and maintaining best practices
- Other responsibilities related with employee's specialization & competencies delegated by Manager
SKILLS
MUST
- 5+ years of experience in graphic design and advertising
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Mastered composition techniques (print & digital) in producing polished final pieces
- Understanding of graphics techniques, including fonts and calligraphy
- Awareness of the latest production techniques, tools and materials
- Being imaginative and full of ideas
- Having an eye for the best in contemporary art and design
- Ability to apply creative thinking to business problems
- Great communication skills that allow to "sell" in an inspirational way
- Organization, diligence, and a readiness to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Fluent English
