Regional Insight Manager (FMCG)

An exciting opportunity for a seasoned Market Research / Insights Professional to join a fantastic FMCG company in Warsaw has just appeared.

As Area Insight Manager you will have the opportunity to ensure the consumer/shopper is at the heart of all in market execution decisions made by the business.  By providing highly impactful strategic insight into the business based on all available data sources, you will influence strategy, priorities and tactical programmes. You will use all data sources to ensure long term planning based on reliable, validated predictive tools.      

You will work with key leaders across Region (7 markets) to ensure the voice of the consumer and shopper is an integral part of delivering the regional business results to plan and excellence in execution. 

Key responsibility:

  • Develop and implement consumer insights strategy for each End market of the Area
  • Harmonize Insights generation approach among markets
  • Lead cooperation with Regional/Global BAT Insights team
  • Lead cooperation with Local research agencies
  • Develop annual research plan for each End market
  • Manage area level research budget
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationship with Brand and Trade team
  • Develop and coach people direct reports within the Insight team

Functional knowledge/skills required:

  • 3-5 years’ experience as Insights manager/Brand manager a reputable and progressive FMCG company
  • Confident in analysing and presenting data and communicating to marketing/trade teams
  • Strong understanding of marketing and trade strategy and planning, and priority setting
  • Proven success in supporting and driving insights
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with external Suppliers
  • Project management
  • Fluent English language
