Key responsibilities:
- Perform & control applications batches and interfaces
- Manage systems parameters and dictionaries
- Verify and solve productions errors and problems
- Run ad-hoc selection on production environment
- Perform data corrections
- Creating and improving reports (including BI Publisher reports)
- Optimise efficiency of application (including indexes, partitioning etc.)
- Improving existing solutions and creating new ones
- Access rights management
- Standard change processing
- Deliver effective end-to-end service (in maintenance area) according to group’s Poland standard, ensuring minimum operational, regulatory and financial risk for the Polish business.
- Cooperate with IT vendors and keeping good relationships with them
Basic requirements:
- Very good knowledge: Oracle PL/SQL or ASP.NET
- Good knowledge: MS SQL, MS Management Studio, SSIS, MS Access
- Programming skills: PL/SQL, T-SQL, ASP.NET, C# or Java
- Practical knowledge of Business Inteligence reporting tools (preferred BI Publisher)
- Experience in day-by-day maintaining of application in production environment
- Can do attitude and real desire to be part of a start up venture team, seeking a challenge and being pushed 'out of their comfort zone
- Positive personality towards Business colleagues and IT team, work within minimal supervision
- Responsibility for results & effectiveness of processes
- Ability to work under strong pressure (production environment, business pressure on system availability etc.)
- Nice to have experience of IT preferable within life insurance / finance sector
