To further strengthen our team, we are looking for an:

Application Operator

(Ref: AO/12/11/IP)

Work Place: Wrocław

The AS 400 system hosts our core billing and customer care application.  The Application Operator ensures the availability of all services provided by the AS 400 systems – including optimization and performance management tasks – with the objective of offering the user community a highly available and efficient system.

Major Tasks

·         Running Billing process

·         Support of iSeries applications

·         Job automation

·         Systems configuration

·         Investigation, analyzing and solving incidents , continuous improvement and preserve the technical infrastructure

·         Problem and Change coordination

·         Formulate standards and directives/guidelines toward the usage of hardware and system software and provide full and complete documentation.

·         Advise about adaptation and improvement of the technical infrastructure

·         Liaise with other departments in order to deliver service levels to support inter and intra-departmental targets.

Required Skills &Experience

·         Ability to research problems through reading documentation

·        Minimum of 2 years ISeries(As400) experience

·         Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Other:

Watchdog service (occasional stand-bye service off working hours)
